The Department of Homeland Security and state governments have deemed physical therapy an essential component of health care during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Physical therapists play a key role in keeping people they can help out of the doctor offices and ER’s. This will not only free up the medical teams to treat those impacted by COVID-19, but also limit the exposure of those seeking the care of the physical therapist.
As our nation and local communities continue to come together to slow the spread of COVID-19, Alpha & Omega Physical Therapy remains open to serve those in need.
We are following all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance to protect our staff and patients at our clinics. In particular, we are focused on maintaining a clean and safe environment.
To deliver a healthy treatment experience for our patients and clinicians alike, we are placing increased emphasis on:
-
Following the latest Centers for Disease Control guidelines, including frequent and thorough hand washing throughout the day, and particularly before and after each patient.
-
Disinfecting all clinic surfaces and equipment
-
Screening all patients, clinicians and team members for potential Coronavirus (COVID-19) exposure.
-
Adhering to recommended social-distance practices when not delivering hands-on care.
-
Limiting the number of people in-clinic.
-
Scheduling seniors and other at-risk patients into lower-traffic hours when possible.
Ultimately, we want to get you back to being you. Whatever your treatment goals may be, we believe the single-biggest factor in a successful recovery from injury is completing the recommended course of care. Our doors will remain open to serve you and continue with the Quality and One-on-One Care that you expect of us.
We encourage you to take care of yourselves during this time. Please do NOT let financial concerns prevent you from seeking care. Call us and let’s work together to improve your health, reduce your pain and obtain your goals. We will continue to monitor and respond to the situation as appropriate.
Alpha and Omega Physical Therapy . . . committed to you, your family and our neighbors.
